Kosovo police disable camera linked to Serbia

Politics

An illegal camera discovered in Leposaviq highlights the dire state of Serbia, says security expert Avni Islami.

According to Islami, this illegal camera also underscores Serbia's clear intent to destabilize Kosovo, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

“The camera was placed on an electric utility pole: this demonstrates the miserable state of the Serbian state today – always with the clear purpose of destabilizing Kosovo and the region. The professionalism and precision of Kosovo's security institutions are admirable,” he wrote on Facebook.

KosovaPress reported that an illegal camera was uncovered and deactivated by the Kosovo Police.

The camera had been installed on an electric pole. Islami further wrote that the camera was used by Serbia's security structures to monitor road intersections and had been set up by parallel structures.
