"Despite difficulties, we’ve chosen the right path, preserving peace and defending democracy," Sandu said, expressing gratitude for the trust of Moldovan citizens at home and abroad. She acknowledged the hardships faced during her first term, including regional and global crises, but stressed Moldova’s progress toward stability and growth.

Sandu outlined her vision for Moldova, using the name of the country as an acronym for values: Heritage, Optimism, Fight, Development, Organization, Will, and Ambition. She reaffirmed Moldova’s dedication to reforms, especially in justice and governance, and called on citizens to actively contribute to the country’s development through responsibility and integrity.

"The European Union is our goal," Sandu noted, adding that integration is a process requiring significant effort, self-reliance, and transformation. She addressed challenges in energy security and economic resilience, urging Moldovans to face them with determination.

Sandu’s message was one of optimism, resilience, and ambition. "Moldova is a small country with a great heart," she said, vowing to support citizens while empowering them to shape the nation’s future.

As the first directly elected president to secure two terms, Sandu highlighted Moldova’s growing international respect and expressed hope for continued progress. "We’ve opened the door to the European Union. Let’s move forward with confidence and remember what Moldova stands for," she concluded.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Palace of the Republic in Chisinau, marking the start of her second four-year mandate.
