North Macedonian tennis star nears career-high ranking
North Macedonian tennis player Lina Gjorgcheska, with her placement in the semifinals of the ITF Porto 50 tournament and the 20 new points she earned, made a jump in the WTA rankings.
She now has 387 points and is ranked 182nd, CE Report quotes MIA.
Gjorgcheska has played 25 tournaments, based on which she holds this ranking.
With these successful results, the North Macedonian tennis player is getting closer to her career-high ranking of 170th, which she achieved on June 12, 2017.
Her next appearance is expected at a tournament in France.
