Moldovan MPs Visit Croatia to Discuss EU Integration and Strengthen Parliamentary Ties

A delegation of Moldovan MPs visited Croatia on December 2–4 to engage in discussions with Croatian officials regarding Moldova's European integration and parliamentary cooperation. The visit was led by Ina Coseru, head of Moldova's parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration, accompanied by MPs Ion Groza and Ion Poia, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The delegation met with Sabina Glasovac, Deputy Speaker of Croatia’s Parliament, as well as other key figures, including Jelena Miloš, head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Branko Kolarić, head of the parliamentary friendship group with Moldova.

Croatian officials congratulated Moldova on the recent opening of EU accession negotiations and expressed confidence in strengthening cooperation through parliamentary platforms.

Ina Coseru highlighted Moldova’s political and social developments, including the results of the recent referendum on EU accession and presidential elections. She emphasized the Moldovan people’s commitment to EU integration and the critical role of the Diaspora in fostering EU values within Moldova.

This visit underscores Moldova’s ongoing efforts to build stronger European partnerships as part of its EU integration process.
