Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) today handed a protest note to Russia's Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Ozerov on "illegal and deliberate interference of the Russian Federation in the electoral process of the Republic of Moldova", CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

According to the MAE, the actions were aimed at "distorting the results of the presidential elections and the constitutional republican referendum, undermining and delegitimizing the democratic process of the Republic of Moldova."
