Chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Nicolae Ciuca declared on Thursday that the fact that the Liberals will have a president-prime minister tandem is the option closest on hand, specifying that the pick for prime minister will be discussed in the party's leading structures, CE Report quotes Agerpres

"For us it is more than obvious, as it is for the electorate, that the National Liberal Party has an option for the right-wing forces, the National Liberal Party is, I would say, the most consistent right-wing political force in the last 30 years. At the moment, we plan on fielding a candidate. This is as clear as possible," Ciuca said at the PNL headquarters.
