PM Mitsotakis sends message from Chios, urging voters to rally

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who was touring the island of Chios on Friday, sent a message to rally voters and warned against 'protest' voting.
Mitsotakis, who visited the Town Hall of Chios and the region of Northern Aegean's headquarters earlier on Friday, stated: "Consider how more difficult are things in 2024 in comparison with 2019 in terms of geopolitical instability, with a war in Ukraine and a front raging in the Middle East. Europe will be called upon in the next five years to play a very strong geopolitical role and Greece should hold a key role in Europe's transformation into a new geopolitical force. We have reasons and an interest in being a protagonist in this major effort," Mitsotakis said, addressing the gathered citizens, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
