Moldovan, Maltese officials address current situation

Regional security challenges in the context of the Russian Federation's brutal war against Ukraine, as well as issues related to the Transnistrian settlement process were discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Dorin Recean and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister for Foreign, Trade and European Affairs of Malta Ian Borg, CE Report quotes Moldpres

Recean appreciated Malta's support for Moldova's European agenda and stressed the OSCE's role in finding lasting solutions to the Transnistrian conflict. Moldovan authorities continue the dialogue with the Transnistrian side and further opt for a peaceful solution to the conflict and the creation of a balance between ensuring the country's security and the needs of society.
