Romania to organize in Washington, for 2nd consecutive year, a week to celebrate Strategic Partnership with the US

In order to mark the anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the US, Romania's Embassy in Washington will organise a series of cultural diplomacy events between 7 and 13 July, as part of a broader programme this year under the slogan "Romania - the US: A partnership for the future - Celebrating Romanian talent," a press release of Romania's Embassy to the US informed on Wednesday. Thus, between 7 and 9 July, takes place the second edition of the largest Romanian festival in the United States, called "Romanian Weekend at The Wharf." For three days, the American public and members of the Romanian-American community will be able to enjoy folk dance performances and live concerts, demonstrations of traditional crafts, interactive workshops, public readings, tourist presentations, exhibitions and culinary and wine tastings, organized in a very popular area for leisure, located on the banks of the Potomac River, not far from the Capitol.
