The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, said on Friday that the war near Romania's borders remains a matter of capital and strategic interest, and our country is involved in supporting Ukraine to win. Cereport reports citing Agerpres

"The war near Romania's borders remains a topic of capital and strategic interest and clearly these debates, their substance contradict the perception that some are trying to accredit of a so-called war fatigue. On the contrary. I could say that as far as Romania is concerned, we are extremely interested and involved in supporting Ukraine to win. Romania remains tireless in the fight for the defense of our interests, for the solidity and continuity of the Euro-Atlantic community of values and security, for supporting Ukraine in winning this war and in the strategic defeat of Russia", Aurescu told the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum.

He emphasized that it is extremely important that democracy is further consolidated at the global level.
