National Liberal Party (PNL) leader, prime minister Nicolae Ciuca, announces that he has decided, together with his coalition partners, to reduce by 10 percent the expenditure of the ministries and to freeze employment in the public sector, taking into account that education and health still need staff. Cereport reports citing Agerpres

"Together with our coalition partners, we have concluded discussions on measures to reduce budget expenditure. We have decided to reduce by 10 precent the expenditure of ministries on goods and services, to stop the purchase of vehicles, furniture and other non-essential expenses of public institutions. We will freeze hiring in the public sector, of course taking into account that education and health still need staff," Ciuca wrote on Facebook on Monday.

He went on to say that it has been established the need to reduce by half the number of advisers in the cabinets of officials in the government apparatus.
