Pope Francis Passes Away at 88
Pope Francis died on Easter Monday at 7:35 a.m. in the Vatican's Domus Sanctae Marthae at the age of 88, following a stroke, coma, and cardiovascular collapse. In accordance with national mourning regulations, flags on public buildings are lowered to half-mast. Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife are attending the funeral, which began at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Peter's Square.
