
Patients Treated in Turkey, Bulgaria, Slovenia Return to North Macedonia
Eight patients are returning in the country after receiving treatment in Turkey, Bulgaria, and Slovenia, while 18 people injured in the Kochani nightclub fire are still hospitalized abroad, the Ministry of Health reported, CE Report quotes MIA.
Of the eight returning patients, five were treated in Turkey, two in Bulgaria, and one in Slovenia. In line with the protocol, five will be kept under observation at the "8 September" City General Hospital, two at the Plastic Surgery Clinic and one at the Surgical Clinic “St. Naum Ohridski.”
Some of the injured, who returned to the country recently, have started rehabilitation at the General Hospital in Kochani, receiving treatment in the departments of neurology, surgery, and physical therapy.
The Health Ministry says it has been continuously monitoring the condition of burn patients so as to provide the best possible treatment and future rehabilitation.
The March 16 fire that broke out in the Pulse nightclub in Kochani killed 62 people and almost 200 were left injured.
