The demonstration, which began at 11:00 AM, saw a strong presence of young people, students, and school pupils. Many shops, cafes, and cultural venues in Athens remained closed in solidarity.
Similar rallies took place across Greece. In Thessaloniki, protestors marched from the Eleftherios Venizelos statue to the Macedonia-Thrace ministry. In Larissa, demonstrators gathered under the banner "I have no oxygen," while in Ioannina, people of all ages—from infants to the elderly—joined the call for justice. Large protests were also held in Patra, Heraklion, Rhodes, Volos, Chania, and other cities.
