PM Mitsotakis: Executive state a success in Greece, but could use improvements

Greece

The executive state was a great success in Greece, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in an interview on Thursday, Cereport reports, citing AAMNA.gr.

Speaking to Star TV, Mitsotakis said that the model could be improved, both in terms of logistics and in terms of choosing who to staff it with.

Mitsotakis said that his greatest challenge for a second four-year term would be health, and particularly its efficiency and staffing, as "you cannot possibly wait 12 months for an operation."

He revealed that he wanted to divide the Labor Ministry into two sections, one relating to pensions and another to social policy and housing.
