Iran Allows First IAEA Visit Since Nuclear Site Attacks

Energy

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has announced that a team of inspectors has returned to Iran for the first time since the Israeli and U.S. attacks on the country’s nuclear facilities.

Iran had suspended cooperation with the IAEA after the "12-day war" with Israel in June, CE Report quotes ANSA.

“Now the first IAEA inspection team is back in Iran and we are about to restart,” Grossi said in an interview with Fox News’ program The Story.

“When it comes to Iran, as you know, there are many facilities—some were attacked, others were not,” he added. “So we are discussing what practical arrangements can be made to resume our work there.”
