Bulgaria's Plovdiv to halt traffic for festive student procession
Traffic on Han Kubrat Street and Saborna Street in Bulgaria will be suspended between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on May 11.
The reason of the suspension is a festive procession and an official wreath-laying ceremony at the bas-relief of Saints Cyril and Methodius in the Ancient Plovdiv Architectural and Historical Reserve.
Students from the Humanitarian High School “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” will mark the Day of the Holy Brothers in this way, CE Report informs via the Plovdiv Municipality's official website.
They will also celebrate their school patron holiday.
The organization and control of vehicle traffic, as well as security for the procession along the route Han Kubrat Street – Rayko Daskalov Street – Saborna Street in the Old Town, will be carried out by law enforcement authorities.
