Nemo, who won the 2024 Eurovision in Sweden, announced that he is returning the award he received in protest of Israel’s participation in the contest.

This move has already prompted five countries to withdraw, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

“As a person and as an artist, today I no longer believe this trophy has a place on my shelf,” he said in a video posted on Instagram.

Nemo had already joined voices with those calling for Israel to be excluded from the world’s largest music competition.
