
Leonardo DiCaprio tops Italian box office again
Leonardo DiCaprio remains at the top of the Italian box office with "Una battaglia dopo l'altra" (One Battle After Another) directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, earning nearly €759,000 this weekend (down 29% from the previous weekend), with an average of €1,713 across 443 screens. Its total after 20 days is nearly €3.75 million, CE Report quotes ANSA.
In second place, Tron: Ares, the new chapter of the sci-fi saga directed by Joachim Rønning, debuts with just over €660,000 and an average of €1,579 on 418 screens. The only returning cast member from previous films is Jeff Bridges, while Jared Leto takes on the lead role.
In third place, Tre ciotole (Three Bowls), the new film by Isabel Coixet based on Michela Murgia’s novel, debuts with €629,000, with a slight boost from previews for a total of €635,000.
Fourth place goes to Le città di pianura (Cities of the Plain), a road movie by Francesco Sossai, which jumped from 9th to 4th place with €200,000, up 12%, and a total of €555,000 since September 25.
Fifth place is taken by Il professore e il pinguino (The Professor and the Penguin), a drama set during Argentina’s 1970s dictatorship, earning €179,000 on 298 screens.

6th: A Big Bold Beautiful Journey with Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie – €162,000 this weekend, total €597,000.
7th: Horror film Together – €156,000 this weekend, total €544,000.
8th: Gabby’s Dollhouse – €136,000 (down 64%), total €1.475 million.
9th: Super Charlie (animated fantasy) – €106,000 debut.
10th: La voce di Hind Rajab – €99,000 weekend, total €1.096 million.
