Jimmy Kimmel Live set to return after Disney suspension

Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show will return to air tomorrow, Disney announced in a statement, just days after having suspended the host over a controversial comment, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Last week, Disney — parent company of ABC — had halted production of Jimmy Kimmel Live after the host suggested that the killer of Charlie Kirk may have come from the MAGA movement.

"Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production of Jimmy Kimmel Live to avoid further fueling a tense situation during an emotionally sensitive time for our country," Disney said.

"It was a decision we made believing that some of the comments were poorly timed and therefore insensitive."

Disney added that after "extensive conversations with Jimmy", they decided to bring the show back on Tuesday, opening the door for the host’s return to television.
