H.M.S.U. Festival Brings Global Drum & Bass to Sofia

The 25th Hard Music and Sounds United (H.M.S.U.) Summer Festival will take place on July 19–20 in Sofia’s Borisova Gradina Park, organizers from Fest Team announced Wednesday. Held at Vidas Art Arena, Bulgaria’s oldest music festival will feature 25 artists from Bulgaria and abroad, CE Report quotes BTA

Headliners include New Zealand’s The Upbeats, known for their track Dead Limit, and British producer Aries, a veteran of the jungle and dubwise scenes. Other performers include Poland’s rising neurofunk star Skrimor and Serbia’s Euphorics, a longtime figure in the drum and bass community.

Founded in 1999, H.M.S.U. has played a key role in developing the Bulgarian drum and bass scene, making it the most active in the Balkans and promoting local artists on international stages.
