A new exhibition titled The Light in the Darkness: Yonko's Path will open April 16 at Sofia’s Credo Bonum Gallery, running through May 9. Curated by Tsvetelina Anastasova, the show pays tribute to the late Bulgarian avant-garde artist Yonko Vassilev – YO\KO (1977–2023), CE Report quotes BTA

The exhibition explores Vassilev’s artistic and personal journey, highlighting his exploration of light, darkness, memory, and transformation. Known for blending life with art, his work reflects deep emotional and philosophical themes.

Vassilev gained international recognition through projects like the Imago Mundi Collection by the Luciano Benetton Foundation and received the Gaudenz B. Ruf award in 2016. He often collaborated with his wife Ina Trifonova as the duo YO\KO+INA.
