The Rakursi Gallery in Sofia will host an exhibition of paintings by renowned Bulgarian artist Rumen Rachev from January 28 to February 15. Titled Frameless, the exhibition showcases Rachev's recent works, characterized by vibrant energy and dynamic color compositions, CE Report quotes BTA

"My new exhibition is called Frameless, not because I don’t frame my paintings, but as a reflection of experiences, emotions, human relationships, and the worlds within and around us—all that unfolds on the grand stage of life," the artist shared.

Born in Belovo, Bulgaria, in 1956, Rachev graduated from the National Academy of Art in Sofia in 1982. Over his illustrious career, he has held more than 60 solo exhibitions across Europe and the United States. He lived and worked in Bremen, Germany, for two decades, exhibiting in prestigious galleries during that time.

Rachev's works are part of esteemed collections, including the National Art Gallery in Sofia, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the New Orleans Museum of Art. He is celebrated for his contributions to painting, drawing, art prints, illustration, and design.

The Frameless exhibition offers visitors a chance to experience the evocative artistry of Rachev, a master of exploring the intersection of the inner and outer worlds.
