Italian court confirms Ancona jurisdiction in Tod’s labor case

This is stated in a Tod’s press release regarding the investigation into labor exploitation involving three managers and the company itself, which has been listed under Italy’s law on the administrative liability of corporations, CE Report quotes ANSA.

On the case, Tod’s emphasizes that “the Court of Cassation yesterday rejected the requests and appeal of Dr. Paolo Storari,” who sought to keep territorial jurisdiction over the preventive proceedings — which included a request for judicial administration — in Milan. Judges in both the first and second instance had already ruled that jurisdiction belonged to Ancona.
