Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor visited Brussels to strengthen Moldova’s economic ties with the EU. She met with key European officials to discuss deeper market integration, export diversification, and adopting European standards, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Highlighting that over 67% of Moldova’s exports go to the EU, Nistor emphasized developing a new economy based on innovation and high productivity. Talks included support for Moldova’s Growth Plan to modernize infrastructure and improve the business climate.

In agriculture, liberalized access boosted exports of apples and grapes significantly. Discussions also covered building a resilient, tech-driven agricultural sector.

Additionally, meetings with defense commissioners focused on Moldova’s role in the European defense value chain through expertise in electronics, cybersecurity, and advanced engineering.

“We are grateful for the EU’s ongoing support, proving that #MoldovaCan,” Nistor said.
