Greek Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis will take part in Eurogroup and ECOFIN meetings in Brussels on Monday and Tuesday, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

The Eurogroup will focus on the Banking Union, hold a hearing with the ECB Supervisory Board President, and review preparations for June’s European Stability Mechanism meeting. Broader discussions will cover global economic trends and progress on the digital euro.

Tuesday’s ECOFIN meeting will address the EU’s Savings and Investment Union strategy, financing European defence—particularly the upcoming SAFE Regulation—and the economic impact of Russia’s war in Ukraine.
