EU-Supported Agro-Hub to Open in Causeni in June 2025

A new community agricultural center, equipped for fruit and vegetable cleaning, cooling, processing, and packaging, will open in Causeni in June 2025 with EU support, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The Agro-Hub will feature energy-efficient technologies and provide local farmers with access to modern infrastructure, boosting small and medium enterprises, expanding markets, and creating jobs.

“The Agro-Hub will facilitate income growth, market expansion, and access to quality products,” the EU Delegation in Moldova stated.

EU Ambassador Jānis Mažeiks visited the facility during a trip to Causeni. The project, implemented by the Causeni town hall, is part of the EU-backed Mayors for Economic Growth Facility, supporting urban development in Eastern Partnership countries.
