Bulgarian Tourism Minister Discusses Innovation and Investment in Brussels

During his visit to Brussels on Thursday, Bulgarian Tourism Minister Miroslav Borshosh met with European Commissioner for Startups, Research, and Innovation Ekaterina Zaharieva to discuss investment opportunities in tourism innovation, the Tourism Ministry reported, CE Report quotes BTA

Their talks focused on integrating research and innovation into Bulgaria’s tourism sector, addressing challenges related to green and digital transformation. Borshosh emphasized the importance of collaboration between government, academia, business, and investors to position Bulgaria as a competitive, year-round tourism destination.

The two officials agreed on Bulgaria's potential as an attractive investment destination and laid the groundwork for future cooperation to enhance the country's presence on the European investment map.
