Vice President Iliana Iotova praised the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' coordination centre for its effective evacuation of Bulgarians from Israel, including a visiting film crew and other citizens, some of whom were foreign nationals. Iotova noted the presence of many dual citizens in Israel and encouraged those seeking to leave to contact Bulgarian institutions. Regarding a possible meeting of the Consultative Council for National Security, she said it is up to the president, who is closely monitoring the situation.

The Foreign Ministry continues to assist evacuations, with 89 Bulgarians among 148 people who arrived in Sofia on Wednesday. Nationals in the region are urged to stay in contact with embassies and register online.
