Albanian Football Federation steps up investment in renewable energy
The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) is investing in renewable energy, aiming to increase clean energy production and reduce its environmental impact.
The FSHF Executive Committee has approved the expansion of the photovoltaic system at Air Albania Stadium in Tirana, continuing its investments in this area, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The initiative builds on the federation’s broader efforts to develop and modernize Albania’s football infrastructure. Air Albania Stadium, which opened in 2019, serves as the home ground of the national team and hosts major domestic and international football events.
Photovoltaic panels convert sunlight into electricity, helping facilities generate renewable power and potentially reduce their reliance on conventional energy sources. The federation has not specified the planned expansion’s capacity, cost or expected energy output.
