Ukrainian soldiers receive vehicles from Belgian volunteers
Volunteers from Belgium have delivered 12 vehicles for Ukrainian soldiers to the city of Kalush in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Kalush Mayor Andrii Naida announced this on Facebook, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.
"We are pleased to welcome a delegation from Belgium to our community – a volunteer convoy of 24 people led by Count Renaud de Kerchove, Deputy Mayor of our twin city Merelbeke-Melle Lieven Focquaert, and Kalush native Volodymyr Bondarchuk, who has been living in Belgium for many years. They arrived with an extremely important mission – to hand over 12 vehicles to our defenders who protect Ukraine on the front line every day," Naida said.
The mayor added that the municipality of Merelbeke-Melle also provided medical equipment and English-language books for the Kalush community.
Last September, Kalush hosted the transfer of 15 vehicles for the front line along with humanitarian aid for the community.
