Russia escalates attacks across Ukraine
This week, the Russian Federation launched 66 missiles, nearly 1,400 strike drones, and 1,100 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Facebook, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.
"The aftermath of the Russian attack is currently being dealt with in Vyshhorod, Kyiv Oblast. Russia attacked the city with drones, damaging many residential buildings. As of now, we know that there are casualties: 19 people have been injured, including children. One person lost their life in this attack. My condolences to their family and friends. There are also wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. Odesa, Sumy, and Kherson regions were also hit. In total, there were 122 strike drones and two ballistic missiles launched overnight," Zelensky said.
The president emphasized that such strikes occur daily. In particular, this week alone, Russia has used nearly 1,400 strike drones, 1,100 guided aerial bombs, and 66 missiles against Ukraine. “That is why we must strengthen Ukraine's resilience every day,” he added.
“Missiles and air defense systems are needed, and we also need to work actively with our partners for peace. We need real, reliable solutions that will help end the war. Thank you to everyone who is helping,” the President said.
