Air defense forces destroyed 95 of the 115 drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine on the evening of November 20.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 115 Shahed and Gerbera strike UAVs and other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Hvardeyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), and about 70 of them were Shahed drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 95 UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.

There were 19 strikes by attack drones at 12 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at four locations.

Civilian infrastructure and private households in the Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions were the most affected. There are casualties among the civilian population.

In addition, the enemy struck the city of Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. Five people were killed in the strike, and multi-story buildings, a shopping market, a supermarket, and vehicles were damaged.

“Russia continues to attack southern Ukraine with strike drones. There are several groups of enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow the safety rules,” the Air Force urged.

As reported, five people were killed and eight were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of an enemy strike, which also damaged high-rise buildings and shopping pavilions.
