Ukraine advances in grey zone near Kakhovka Reservoir
Special forces of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) Directorate have taken control of islands located in the “grey zone” on the territory of the former Kakhovka Reservoir.
The DIU reported this on Facebook, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.
Fighters of the Bratstvo unit, which is part of the Timur Special Unit, carried out a successful reconnaissance and sabotage operation in the “grey zone” of the former reservoir area.
During the operation near the Velyki Kuchuhury sector, located 7 kilometers from the shoreline, DIU special forces detected and eliminated two Russian invaders.
The Bratstvo fighters raised the blue-and-yellow flag over the islands and established control over the area.
As reported, after a successful airborne operation in Pokrovsk, additional DIU forces broke through a ground corridor and linked up with the Timur Special Unit.
