Eight killed, 11 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region

Eight people have been killed and 11 others injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region.

The statement was made on Telegram by Head of the regional administration Oleksandr Hanzha, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

According to officials, Russian forces carried out nearly 30 strikes across three districts of the region.

In the Nikopol district, the towns of Nikopol as well as the Marhanets, Myrove, Pokrovske, and Chervonohryhorivka communities came under fire. Infrastructure, private homes, and vehicles were damaged.

Three people were injured, including a 16-year-old boy who was hospitalized in moderate condition. Another 16-year-old and a 21-year-old are receiving outpatient treatment.

In the Synelnykove district, Russian forces struck the Dubovyky and Mykolaivka communities, damaging more than 20 homes and killing two people.

Earlier strikes in the district on May 12 also damaged nine additional homes, killing four people and injuring four others. Three of the wounded were hospitalized, including a 50-year-old man in critical condition.

In Kryvyi Rih, industrial facilities, infrastructure, and a gas pipeline were damaged. Two people were killed and four injured.
