North Macedonia showcases culture at tourism fair in Serbia
Minister of Culture and Tourism of North Macedonia Zoran Ljutkov participated in a “Macedonian Evening” held in Novi Sad, Serbia, in cooperation with the Novi Sad Fair. An event he described as “full of authentic tastes, sounds, and colors that tell the tale of a small, but exceptionally rich country.”
In his address at the event, Ljutkov expressed gratitude to the organizers of the 56th International Fair of Tourism, the tourism organization of the city of Novi Sad, as well as to all partners and collaborators who made it possible for North Macedonia to be a partner country of this year’s fair, CE Report quotes MIA.
The 56th International Tourism Fair is being held from November 27 to 29, on 6.000 square meters of exhibition space at the Novi Sad Fair, with 250 participants from 10 countries present.
“Tourism is a bridge that connects people and cultures, that creates friendships, takes down barriers, and reminds us that the beauty of the world is greatest when it is shared. Your presence tonight is a real privilege to share a part of our cultural heritage, which isn’t measured only in traditions, but also in the feeling of belonging, in the warmth of hospitality, and in the love with which it has been created for centuries. I hope that you had a successful day, full of new partners, exchanges of good practices, visions for development, and deepened cooperation in the tourism sector,” Ljutkov said, inviting the attendees to visit the country.
The choir and orchestra of the folk dance and song ensemble “Tanec” performed at the event.
Minister Ljutkov received a trophy of gratitude on behalf of the country awarded to the partner country of the Novi Sad International Fair of Tourism. He expressed sincere gratitude for the trust given to the country to be the partner nation of the fair.
“Tourism is a sector built on trust, exchange, and cooperation. It is precisely these events that create a platform for new ideas and strong partnerships,” the Minister stressed.
