Bomb threat forces American Airlines flight to land in Rome

An American Airlines flight en route from New York to Delhi was diverted to Rome's Fiumicino airport following an alleged bomb threat.

Flight AA292 was scheduled to land at Rome's international airport on Sunday afternoon, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Security checks will be carried out, according to procedures, after passengers on the Boeing 787 have disembarked.
