Kosovo begins inventory of all sports, youth facilities

Blerim Gashani, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Kosovo, announced that he has decided to begin the process of inventorying all sports and youth facilities in Kosovo.

In a Facebook post, he stated that the process will include stadiums, sports fields, gyms, school gyms, and youth centers, including a technical and functional assessment of each facility, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

According to him, the process will also identify areas lacking any sports or youth infrastructure, with the goal of planning investments in those locations.

He also warned that additional decisions and initiatives aimed at sports development and youth empowerment are expected in the coming days.

"Good morning dear citizens,
I have made the decision to begin the process of inventorying all sports and youth facilities in the Republic of Kosovo.

This process will include stadiums, sports fields, gyms, school gyms, and youth centers, as well as their technical and functional assessment.

We will also identify areas that currently have no sports or youth infrastructure, so that we can plan investments in these spaces.

Decisions and initiatives for the development of sports and the empowerment of youth will follow in the coming days."
