Barcelona wins Spanish Super Cup
Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3–2 tonight in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.
The match was played at the King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, CE Report quotes MIA.
Raphinha scored two goals for the Catalans, while Robert Lewandowski added another. Vinícius and Gonzalo García scored for “Los Blancos.”
Barcelona finished the match with ten players after Frenkie de Jong received a straight red card in the 90+1st minute for a rough challenge on Kylian Mbappé.
Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup for the second consecutive time and the 16th time in their history. The Catalan side holds the record in the competition, while Real Madrid is second with 13 trophies.
