After the sensational rejection of Nico Williams, who decided to renew with Athletic Bilbao until 2032, FC Barcelona risks experiencing another disappointment in the summer transfer market. The Bavarian club have made a significant offer for the player and appear to have received his approval for personal terms. Now all that remains is for Bayern to negotiate with Liverpool, a club that has so far been reluctant to accept the striker's departure.
If the deal is finalized, it would be another blow to the ambitions of FC Barcelona, which due to financial difficulties cannot compete on equal terms with the European giants. According to "Sport", if Díaz has indeed given the "OK" for the transfer to Germany, then another hope of the transfer market for the Catalan club will be extinguished.
