Ljubljana Zoo welcomes majestic lion Raman
The Ljubljana Zoo welcomed a new lion at the end of April.
Maksimus, a 15-year-old lion who had previously lived at the zoo, had to be euthanised in 2024 due to poor health, CE Report quotes STA.
The new arrival, a 9-year-old Asiatic lion named Raman, was born in 2016 at the Belgian Planckendael zoo and came to Slovenia from France.
He is joining the 16-year-old lioness Živana.
