The Danish government and parliament have approved another military aid package for Ukraine totaling nearly DKK 1.4 billion (about $217 million).

The Danish Defense Ministry said this in a press release CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

According to the statement, DKK 100 million from this amount will go toward financing the "Danish model" in 2025, DKK 372.2 million will support the PURL initiative (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List), which will enable the purchase of U.S. weapons for Ukraine, and another DKK 80 million will provide fuel for Ukrainian defenders.

"There's still a great need to support Ukraine's fight for independence. And there's also a need for other countries to contribute," Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said.

Denmark's total assistance to Ukraine since 2022 has already reached DKK 71 billion (around $11.1 billion).
