Albania praised for reform progress in latest EU report

The Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, handed over the European Commission’s progress report on Albania to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Spiropali stated that “this is the most serious indicator of an Albania looking toward the future — for the good work done and for the challenges that lie ahead.”

Earlier, Ambassador Gonzato also presented the progress report to Prime Minister Edi Rama, praising the country for making significant progress, CE Report quotes ATA.

Most of the negotiation chapters have already been opened, and work is underway to open the remaining ones. According to Gonzato, “Albania must maintain the pace of reforms.”
