Trump urges Israeli President to pardon Netanyahu
Donald Trump has asked Israeli President Isaac Herzog to grant a pardon to Benjamin Netanyahu, who was indicted in 2019 on charges of corruption and fraud, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Addressing Herzog during his speech at the Knesset, Trump said: “I have an idea... why don’t you pardon him?”
Trump continued by saying, “This wasn’t in the speech. It just seems to make a lot of sense,” he added.
