Open Society: Trump’s Claims About Soros “Outrageous and False”
The accusations made by U.S. President Donald Trump against billionaire George Soros and his son are “outrageous and false,” said the Open Society Foundations, CE Report quotes BTA.
Trump wrote on his social network Truth Social that Soros and his son Alex “should be prosecuted under RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) for their support of violent protests in the U.S.”
The Soros family is frequently targeted by the American right wing.
“These accusations are outrageous and untrue. The Open Society Foundations do not support or fund violent protests,” said a spokesperson for the philanthropic empire founded by Soros in a statement.
