
Rosca Sworn In as Deputy PM for Reintegration
Roman Rosca was sworn in today as Moldova’s new Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, in the presence of President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
President Sandu emphasized that Rosca’s main responsibility is ensuring the safety of citizens on both sides of the Dniester River. She also thanked outgoing Deputy PM Oleg Serebrian for his role in maintaining peace and stability, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES
Prime Minister Recean called the task ahead “difficult but achievable,” highlighting the importance of continued peace in the Transnistrian region.
Rosca previously served as a lawmaker and chaired the parliamentary commission overseeing reintegration policy. He also held positions in the Interior Ministry and the Chisinau Municipal Council.
The post became vacant on July 21, following Serebrian’s appointment as Moldova’s ambassador to Turkey.
