Romania, Germany Sign Cooperation Plan
During his official visit to Berlin on Friday, Romanian President Nicusor Dan announced the signing of a joint action plan with Germany, marking a key outcome of the trip.
“This plan clarifies how our two countries will cooperate across various sectors. It’s the result of a year and a half of work,” Dan said at a press conference at the Romanian Embassy in Berlin, CE Report quotes AGERPRES
He also noted that economic discussions took place and that major German investments in Romania could follow: “If talks lead to several billion euros in investment, that would be the most concrete result.”
The action plan for enhanced bilateral cooperation was signed by Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu and German State Secretary Geza Andreas von Geyr, in the presence of Dan and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
