Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis outlined the government’s priorities for the next six months at the 8th InvestGR Forum 2025. Key initiatives include tax cuts, outward-looking export policies, targeted spatial planning, and cutting business bureaucracy by 25%.

Hatzidakis highlighted that upcoming tax cuts will depend on fiscal space and will be announced soon at the Thessaloniki International Fair. The government is also preparing a concrete export strategy to enter new markets, along with special spatial plans for tourism, industry, and renewable energy, while speeding up local urban planning, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia

He emphasized balancing these “micro-level” reforms with fiscal prudence to reduce Greece’s high public debt and improve its EU standing by 2028.
