Trump’s Spiritual Advisor Counters Skeptics on Ukraine Support

Despite what the media write about him, U.S. President Donald Trump wants peace in Ukraine to come quickly.

This belief was expressed by American pastor Mark Burns, who is referred to as a spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

“I sent him (the U.S. President – ed.) pictures of what had happened, what the Russians were doing. These are not getting reported in the news. Then I visited the White House personally,” Burns said in response to a question about whether he had shared his impressions from a recent trip to Ukraine with President Trump.

In this context, the pastor emphasized that he speaks not from media reports, but from personal observation: “It doesn’t matter what they may read in the news about President Trump, but the President wants peace. He wants it to come quickly.”

Burns also said he was deeply moved by stories shared by other religious leaders during his visit to Ukraine.

“They began to talk about the atrocities of the Russians, to share real stories of what’s happening, about the tears in the eyes of people getting executed, and pastors, or leaders getting killed,” Burns said.

Additionally, according to him, Ukrainian religious figures spoke about real religious freedom in the country, and how no one prevents them from practicing their faith.

“There were Jews, Baptists, Orthodox, and Muslims in one group, and they all differed in theology, yet they unified as people of faith,” Burns noted.

He also shared how he was impacted by the tragedy in Bucha, which he visited during his trip.

Now, as Trump’s spiritual advisor mentioned, he is working to convince Republicans in Congress and ordinary Americans of the need for greater military support for Ukraine.

He also challenged skeptics in the U.S., underscoring that people who read his posts say, “Well, it’s very sad what’s happening to Ukraine, but no more support for Ukraine." According to the Pastor, he responded and said, “You wouldn’t be saying that if you were in Kyiv; you wouldn’t be saying that if you were seeing with your own eyes what I’m seeing.”

As reported, Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi Moshe Azman called Pastor Mark Burns’s visit not just a symbolic gesture, but a “real opportunity to show the truth,” which the spiritual advisor to the U.S. President deeply absorbed.
