On the 145th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the United States, Romanian President Nicușor Dan expressed his commitment to strengthening ties with President Donald Trump, CE Report quotes Agerpres

"Today we celebrate 145 years of diplomatic relations with our close ally, the USA," Dan wrote on X. "Ready to work together with President Trump to achieve the full potential of our partnership."

Romania and the U.S. first established diplomatic relations on June 14, 1880.
